Al-Ahzab | 73 verses  سورة الأحزاب
Sura #33 | Madina


62   سُنَّةَ اللَّهِ فِي الَّذِينَ خَلَوْا مِن قَبْلُ ۖ وَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّةِ اللَّهِ تَبْدِيلًا

Transliteration 62: Sunnata Allahi fee allatheena khalaw min qablu walan tajida lisunnati Allahi tabdeelan


Mohsin Khan: 62: That was the Way of Allah in the case of those who passed away of old: and you will not find any change in the Way of Allah.


Urdu 62: یہی الله کا قانون ہے ان لوگو ں میں جو اس سے پہلے ہو گزر چکے ہیں اور آپ الله کے قانون میں کوئی تبدیلی ہرگز نہ پائیں گے




63   يَسْأَلُكَ النَّاسُ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ ۖ قُلْ إِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِندَ اللَّهِ ۚ وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَعَلَّ السَّاعَةَ تَكُونُ قَرِيبًا


Transliteration 63: Yasaluka alnnasu AAani alssaAAati qul innama AAilmuha AAinda Allahi wama yudreeka laAAalla alssaAAata takoonu qareeban


Mohsin Khan: 63: People ask you concerning the Hour, say: "The knowledge of it is with Allah only. What do you know? It may be that the Hour is near!"


Urdu 63: آپ سے لوگ قیامت کے متعلق پوچھتے ہیں کہہ دو اس کا علم تو صرف الله ہی کو ہے اور اپ کو کیا خبر کہ شاید قیامت قریب ہی ہو




64   إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَعَنَ الْكَافِرِينَ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ سَعِيرًا


Transliteration 64: Inna Allaha laAAana alkafireena waaAAadda lahum saAAeeran


Mohsin Khan: 64: Verily, Allah has cursed the disbelievers, and has prepared for them a flaming Fire (Hell).


Urdu 64: بے شک الله نے کافروں پر لعنت کی ہے اور ان کے لیے دوزخ تیار کر رکھا ہے




65   خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ۖ لَّا يَجِدُونَ وَلِيًّا وَلَا نَصِيرًا


Transliteration 65: Khalideena feeha abadan la yajidoona waliyyan wala naseeran


Mohsin Khan: 65: Wherein they will abide for ever, and they will find neither a Wali (a protector) nor a helper.


Urdu 65: وہ اس میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے نہ کوئی دوست پائیں گے اور نہ کوئی مددگار




66   يَوْمَ تُقَلَّبُ وُجُوهُهُمْ فِي النَّارِ يَقُولُونَ يَا لَيْتَنَا أَطَعْنَا اللَّهَ وَأَطَعْنَا الرَّسُولَا


Transliteration 66: Yawma tuqallabu wujoohuhum fee alnnari yaqooloona ya laytana ataAAna Allaha waataAAna alrrasoola


Mohsin Khan: 66: On the Day when their faces will be turned over in the Fire, they will say: "Oh, would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم)."


Urdu 66: جس دن ان کے منہ آگ میں الٹ دیے جائیں گے کہیں گے اے کاش ہم نے الله اور رسول کا کہا مانا ہوتا




67   وَقَالُوا رَبَّنَا إِنَّا أَطَعْنَا سَادَتَنَا وَكُبَرَاءَنَا فَأَضَلُّونَا السَّبِيلَا


Transliteration 67: Waqaloo rabbana inna ataAAna sadatana wakubaraana faadalloona alssabeela


Mohsin Khan: 67: And they will say: "Our Lord! Verily, we obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they misled us from the (Right) Way.


Urdu 67: اور کہیں گے اے ہمارے رب ہم نے اپنے سرداروں اوربڑوں کا کہا مانا سو انہوں نے ہمیں گمراہ کیا




68   رَبَّنَا آتِهِمْ ضِعْفَيْنِ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ وَالْعَنْهُمْ لَعْنًا كَبِيرًا


Transliteration 68: Rabbana atihim diAAfayni mina alAAathabi wailAAanhum laAAnan kabeeran


Mohsin Khan: 68: "Our Lord! Give them double torment and curse them with a mighty curse!"


Urdu 68: اے ہمارے رب انہیں دگنا عذاب دے اور ان پر بڑی لعنت کر




69   يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ آذَوْا مُوسَىٰ فَبَرَّأَهُ اللَّهُ مِمَّا قَالُوا ۚ وَكَانَ عِندَ اللَّهِ وَجِيهًا


Transliteration 69: Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la takoonoo kaallatheena athaw moosa fabarraahu Allahu mimma qaloo wakana AAinda Allahi wajeehan


Mohsin Khan: 69: O you who believe! Be not like those who annoyed Musa (Moses), but Allah cleared him of that which they alleged, and he was honourable before Allah.


Urdu 69: اے ایمان والو تم ان لوگو ں جیسے نہ ہوجاؤ جنہوں نے موسیٰ کو ستایا پھر الله نے موسیٰ کو ان کی باتوں سے بری کر دیا اور وہ الله کے نزدیک بڑی عزت والا تھا




70   يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَقُولُوا قَوْلًا سَدِيدًا


Transliteration 70: Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo ittaqoo Allaha waqooloo qawlan sadeedan


Mohsin Khan: 70: O you who believe! Keep your duty to Allah and fear Him, and speak (always) the truth.


Urdu 70: اے ایمان والو الله سے ڈرو اور ٹھیک بات کیا کرو




71   يُصْلِحْ لَكُمْ أَعْمَالَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ ۗ وَمَن يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ فَازَ فَوْزًا عَظِيمًا


Transliteration 71: Yuslih lakum aAAmalakum wayaghfir lakum thunoobakum waman yutiAAi Allaha warasoolahu faqad faza fawzan AAatheeman


Mohsin Khan: 71: He will direct you to do righteous good deeds and will forgive you your sins. And whosoever obeys Allah and His Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم), he has indeed achieved a great achievement (i.e. he will be saved from the Hell-fire and will be admitted to Paradise).


Urdu 71: تاکہ وہ تمہارے اعمال کو درست کرے اور تمہارے گناہ معاف کر دے اور جس نے الله اور اس کے رسول کا کہنا مانا سو اس نے بڑی کامیابی حاصل کی

Dua Qurani 22nd December 2011

O you who believe! Ward off yourselves and your families against a Fire (Hell) whose fuel is men and stones, over which are (appointed) angels stern (and) severe, who disobey not, (from executing) the Commands they receive from Allah, but do that which they are commanded.

O you who believe! Turn to Allah with sincere repentance! It may be that your Lord will expiate from you your sins, and admit you into Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise) - the Day that Allah will not disgrace the Prophet (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) and those who believe with him. Their Light will run forward before them and (with their Records - Books of deeds) in their right hands. They will say: "Our Lord! Keep perfect our Light for us [and do not put it off till we cross over the Sirat (a slippery bridge over the Hell) safely] and grant us forgiveness. Verily, You are Able to do all things."

In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, and the ships which sail through the sea with that which is of use to mankind, and the water (rain) which Allah sends down from the sky and makes the earth alive therewith after its death, and the moving (living) creatures of all kinds that He has scattered therein, and in the veering of winds and clouds which are held between the sky and the earth, are indeed Ayat (proofs, evidence, signs, etc.) for people of understanding.
